Heather Wiltse

I am a PhD Candidate at the Indiana University Bloomington School of Informatics and Computing, concentrating in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). My research centers around trying to understand the social implications of digital technologies in a way that can speak to their design, and it sits at the intersection of HCI Design, Philosophy of Technology, and Science and Technology Studies (STS).

As of the spring of 2011 I have completed coursework and passed my qualifying exams, and am currently working toward my dissertation proposal with my advisor, Erik Stolterman.
